depends who ur asking
!960's. America went to hell and is still there.
I believe the TEACHER IS ASKING FOR YOUR OPINION....not reality...for during ANY period there were some who benefited and many who suffered.
So for you it could be from 6 to 16...you had to go to school and you had to walk uphill both ways in the rain everyday because you were too young to drive? A decade is 10 years.
The worst is yet to come 2020'S-
I've been around since the '50s. My two least favorite decades were the '70s and the '80s.
Way before humans were around.
Possibly the time between the panic of 1857 and the panic of 1873 which lasted until 1879 (called the "Long Depression") and included also the time of the American Civil War, because civil wars affect the whole family and community.
I'm not American but i think about Civil War and Prohibition period
decades? don't know but in years whenever
dems where in presidency
I'd say 1860 - 1870 would certainly be among the worst. Terrible war followed by a terrible insurrection inappropriately labeled "Reconstruction." But 1910 - 1920 was near the worst as well, with another terrible war and a terrible flu pandemic that claimed close to 700,000 lives in the U.S. and reduced the life expectancy at the time by 12 years. Incidentally this year marks the 100 year anniversary of both events.
Note to those of you who proclaim that 2010 is the worst decade - you really are a special kind of stupid.
