No, he was a HoF talent without cheating, he chose to cheat and tarnished his entire legacy with that stupid move.
I despise the grinning idiot so, no, I have no sympathy for him. My only regret is that he didn't overdose on the drugs that he took.
Yea he got his!
Look...........all these athletes crying they didn't KNOW what they took was against the rules.............HORSESH*T !
When you are being paid MILLIONS of dollars a year to play a stupid game........it might be Worth your time to CHECK what the hell is going into your body.
You don't pop positive for taking cold medicines or eating a bagel, or all these other stupid excuses.
You pop positive, because you damn sure used the illegal substance.
No I don't feel sorry for him.
"I didn't know! I thought it was just an herbal supplement!" Just take vitamins. You can't go wrong.
I do feel sorry for him, Tex. What he used was NOT a performance enhancing drug, but it was on MLB's banned list. As a veteran, he should have know to check with the team trainer first. Big error. Might turn out to be a career ender.
