i was in this situation and people did get concerned 'cause while it may be acceptable if the love between you genuine, you could wake up on the other side of the bed tomorrow and say he raped you or something and he'd be in deep **** if you were that type of young dumb girl... so do not be surprised when people try to discourage this relationship

considering you didn't mention the state you live in, depends on the state, here where i live there's a provision law allowing 16-23 year olds to date/have sugarual contact...

you were technically raped then... he is an adult and you are a child... your parents are doing an atrocious job raising you if you think it is at all ok to be having sugar at 16 let alone with a 19 year old... if this boy had any morals or respect for you or the law he would be waiting until you were not a child anymore before dating or having sugar with you... stop this relationship before you get him out on a sugar offenders list for the rest of his life...

yes

16 is still a child where I'm from.... According to the law where I'm you'd be viewed as a disgusting pervert. But I'm fine with that age gap

theres absolutely nothing wrong with young love... specially if your parents don't mind... i myself was in your situation being 16 & my now fiancee who at the time was 20 at the time were madly on love... that was 5 yrs ago... live your life don't let anyone judge you or your choices... everybody messes up at some point specially 'cause you're young now...

Yes, you should wait until you are both of age.

Depends where you are. In California, some other states and some countries, he could get in serious trouble. That is if you're having sex. In most states and countries, no...but some, yes very, very serious trouble. Google age of consent and where you are and you'll see the law.

16 is the most common age of consent in the US and Europe. Most places have a close in age exception generally two to four years age difference. California is a notable exception. Two seventeen year olds having sex in CA are BOTH sex offenders!
