If you think someone here can help you based on a two word 'question' - I think I understand why someone might feel the need to micromanage you.
There is nothing you can do
Micromanagement is just a theory and has never been proven
when you are a micromanager, you attend to the smallest detail, possibly overlooking the bigger picture, like being a quality control person with a microscope at a buggy whip factory
Do it their way it is important to them, do it their way even when they aren't looking so they can trust you and move on to the next person to manage.
