I am a bit confused with so many Bharata natyam dance titles, Bharata-natyam awards, medals for some achievements in Bharata natyam or other, etc. I have seen a few dozen Bharata natyam performances, and seen some pretty famous Bharata-natyam dancers who cannot seem to be able to dance at all. In short, how do you judge who is the best?
